Indian Creek Foundation recognizes the importance of saving for retirement. From the first day of employment, employees will have the opportunity to participate in a 401(K) program on a voluntary basis. Our 401(K) retirement program allows employees to save for retirement with pre-tax dollars, contributed through a payroll deduction. After 1 year of service with Indian Creek Foundation, employees will be eligible to receive a dollar for dollar match.
Indian Creek Foundation offers a company paid pension plan. This is a Profit Sharing Pension Plan where Indian Creek Foundation is able to contribute a percentage towards our employee’s retirement. Participation in any retirement program is not necessary; Indian Creek Foundation will contribute on behalf of the employee. After 1 year of service with Indian Creek Foundation, employees will become eligible.
Health and Well-being
Employee Assistance Program
Maintaining an equal balance between home and work is not always an easy task. Indian Creek Foundation is able to offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), facilitated by the Penn Foundation. EAP is a confidential counseling service that provides, at no charge, up to six counseling sessions and a 24-hour telephone crisis intervention for all employees and their immediate families.
Looking out for the health and well-being of employees is a priority at Indian Creek Foundation.
Indian Creek Foundation is able to offer affordable health insurance options for full time and part time employees, who work 20 hours or more per week, through CIGNA Open Access Plan. Employees have the opportunity to elect either individual or family coverage, after successfully completing the introductory period of employment. Eligible dependents included in the family plan include a spouse and children. Employees will also have access to vision coverage and healthy life style perks including gym membership discounts.
Full time employees of Indian Creek Foundation are also eligible for dental coverage through Delta Dental. Employees have the opportunity to elect either individual or family coverage successfully completing the introductory period of employment. Dental coverage includes routine cleanings, basis restoration, oral surgery, and much more.
Short and long term disability, as well as group life insurance is available to full time employees, who have successfully completed the introductory period of employment.
Time Away from Work
Taking time off from work is necessary to stay rejuvenated; it allows employees to maintain a balance in their home and work lives. Indian Creek Foundation is able to offer generous paid time off, known as benefit time. Benefit time is a combination of vacation, personal and sick time and is accrued on a bi-weekly basis. Time accrued may be used at the time of the employees choosing. Benefit time is available to all full time and part time employees, who work 20 hours or more per week.
Benefit Time Donation
Indian Creek Foundation offers the opportunity for employees to donate their benefit time to another employee in need. Benefit time can be donated to employees who are victims of natural disasters; critical or catastrophic life changing situation such as the loss of a spouse or child; or if an immediate family member needs inpatient or hospice care. The Benefit Donation Bank is available for full time employees who have been employed with the agency for at least 1 year to make and/or received donated benefit time.
Family Medical Leave
Indian Creek Foundation provides Family Medical Leave for birth, adoption, placement of a child in foster care or serious illness of a child, parent, spouse or the employee. Family Medical Leave is available for full time employees after 1 year of employment with Indian Creek Foundation.
Indian Creek Foundation recognizes the importance of celebrating federal holidays and is able to offer 10 paid holidays to our employees. Holiday pay is available for full time and part time employees who work 20 or more hours per week.
Professional Growth and Development
Indian Creek Foundation Training Program
Indian Creek Foundation believes in providing the tools, trainings, and leadership to help employees grow professionally. The Foundation is able to offer an extensive training program to all employees.
Upon hire, new employees will be responsible for completing a company paid Agency Orientation Program, where the new employee will get a better understanding of the organization. They will also receive additional trainings to assist in job performance. The new employee will receive a number of certifications paid for by Indian Creek Foundation including First Aid and CPR.
Throughout the year, the employee will have the opportunity to sign up for additional trainings of their own interest. These trainings are offered at our main office and will assist in the professional growth of each employee.
Management in Training
Indian Creek Foundation is strongly committed to filling positions from within, and has developed a Management Series training to lay the framework for the Foundation’s future leadership. The Management Series provides employees with the basic principles to improve their managerial skills, such as: performance planning, conflict resolution, leadership, and many other programs.
Employees have the opportunity to give back to the community where they live and work through our Volunteer Program. Indian Creek Foundation employees’ can donate up to 16 hours of working time, per year, towards a charitable organization. The volunteer program is eligible for full time employees who have successfully completed the introductory period of employment.
Indian Creek Foundation acknowledges the hard work the staff performs on a daily basis. As a way of saying thank you to these individuals, Indian Creek Foundation hosts social events open to all employees. Throughout the year, staff is welcome to attend an employee picnic, a holiday luncheon and celebrations welcoming the new season, etc.
Employee Referrals are a great way to make some extra cash with Indian Creek Foundation. If an employee refers an applicant to the Foundation And the applicant is hired, and completes the introductory period, the referring employee can receive up to a $200.00 referral bonus.
