Transitional Employment Manager
The Transitional Employment Manager participates in the development, training and support of work crews made up of individuals who have developmental disabilities. He/she will assist in the development of contract proposals and quotes; attend employment and networking events, report on trends and track programmatic goals; provide follow-along for individual crew members placed in community employment; supervise TEP Crew Supervisors; respond to inquiries for information on business capabilities.
Participates in individual support plan meetings, develops procedures that encourage independence and good work habits; communicates relevant information to the individual’s support team and agency management.
Experience: At least one year of job placement, sales, networking; and recruitment experience helpful. Prior experience working with individuals who have Intellectual Disabilities preferred.
Skills:Ability to read and write in English, moderate mathematics skills required; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; auditory and visual skills; ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach, and lift items weighing 75 pounds or less; satisfactory completion of post-offer pre-employment physical exam and drug test as required. Completion and clearance of a criminal background check and a child abuse clearance. Has valid driver’s license with a clear three-year driving record.
Site Supervisor 2
The Site Supervisor – 2 will provide guidance, support and direct hands-on-care to the individuals served in the vocational, day and older adults programs. Responsibilities include the facilitating group and individual activities related to work, leisure, education and well-being.
Additionally this position is responsible for the transportation and supervision of individuals placed in community employment on TEP crew. She/he directly supervises individuals who have been hired to complete contracted work. Responsibilities also include communicating pertinent information to the appropriate personnel, responding to inquiries or requests for information as well as documentation of activities completed or observed during each shift.
